James Thomas Rosenbaum 1941 - 2018

James passed away on 15 Jun 2018. He was a kind and generous man -- always willing to provide any genealogical help he could. He was a constant contributor to the Cambria County website, and he will be greatly missed.

William Henry Flenner 2008

On 27 Apr 2008, Bill Flenner passed away in Wilmington, Delaware. He was an eager contributor to the mailing list and to his online Cambria County relatives. His generosity will be sadly missed. For more information on his life, you can find his obituary in the Tribune-Democrat on 29 Apr 2008, page B-11.

Martha Jane Humenik 2008

Martha passed away on 13 Feb 2008, in Dale City, Virginia. She was the original host of the Barr Township webpages. If you have ancestors at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, you have Martha to thank for transcribing and contributing the information. She helped transcribe and, on occasion, fully transcribed some of the county history books now included in the Cambria County webpages. She was a great asset to our genealogical community.

Annie Whiteman 2007

Annie Whiteman passed away on 16 Dec 2007. Although her main area of expertise was Blair County, she did not limit her contributions to just that area. She graciously and frequently shared her knowledge and "finds" wherever she thought she could help. She is quite often listed as a contributor to the Cambria County pages. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and profited by her hard work.

Carleen R. Worthy 2007

On August 28, 2007, Carlene R. Worthy peacefully passed away at her home in Westland, MI. Carlene could be counted on to do look-up's in the Fr. Ledous books and to answer reader questions. She often added to our online obituary collection, and many researchers were able to benefit from her generousity. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Lt. Col. Dale A. Britten 1921 - 2006

Dale passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2006. He was the originator of the Reade Township web pages that are a part of the Cambria County Pennsylvania Genealogy web site and served as the Township Host for several years. Dale also spent many hours posting obituaries and other data to the county's message boards in order to help other researchers. His time and dedication to this project and the genealogical community is appreciated and will be sorely missed.

Nancy C. Troxel 1929 - 2002

Nancy passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2002. She was a regular contributor to the Cambria County web pages and had a wealth of knowledge about her community and its inhabitants. She, and her unselfish willingness to share this knowledge with other researchers, will be sadly missed.

June M. Napora 1942 - 2002

June passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2002. She spent many hours posting obituaries and other data to the county's message boards in order to help other researchers. Her time and dedication to the genealogical community is appreciated and will be sorely missed.
